Marathon runner, Erol Dolu from Fethiye, became the 3th on the marathon run which was held in Istanbul.

Many times marathon winner, Erol Dolu was sponsored by the village of Faralya.

Among the 26 competitors attending the marathon organised by Sarıbucuk Sport Club of İstanbul, Erol Dolu became the 3th.

On his return back to Fethiye on June 5th, Erol Dolu said: “It was a very good run. I am grateful to everyone who supported me, especially the people of Faralya Village and touristic establishments who gave me full support. Sport is the best thing for your body and soul. I have been attending to all competitions within Turkey and abroad and deeply thank to all those people who encouraged and supported me.

Now my next goal is to join the Athletism Cahmpionship which will be held in Izmir, on 19-20 th June.
